At the kick off of every project I like to lay out clear instructions about how everyone will document various aspects of the project and exactly where all project documents and communications will be kept. This provides the best channels for async communications and teams who are not all working in the same time zones.
This ends up being where everyone comes to get any and all answers from me and/or from their team members before, during, and after product launch.
