I worked on Resilient Oakland, with the City of Oakland Resilience Officer, various city departments and with Oakland communities, non-profits, and educational organizations to engage kids on topics of shocks that may occur in their lives and what they can do to be safer and more prepared when future emergencies arise.

The kids were like sponges soaking up anything and everything I shared with them on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) topics including complex topics like Internet of Things and artificial intelligence.

I absolutely loved, and still love, working with kids to share interesting topics they don't always have access to in traditional elementary, middle school, and high school settings.

Let's envision more future cities together!
