Metropolis, pick your transportation

In my book, "Metropolis", we offer ideas about which modes of transportation you're going to use in your story because we need to understand exactly what players are dealing with when they are in one location potentially heading to another.

Transportation is key in Metropolis, and in any city or rural community, because the rules around speed, additional capabilities, and viewing perspectives can make a huge difference in the outcomes. Keep in mind, a lot of our stories start with a "Before" or "Current State" scenario first, that illustrates how slow, broken, or wrong-fitted some of resources are for the situation at hand.

So, starting with a brief "Before" story is important to lay the foundation of what is understood to be not good enough, and painful to keep looking at once you see it explained so clearly.
