A Smart City friend and I led a Vision Architecture workshop with kids at an Oakland middle school to imagine what future cities and towns could look like and for them to become the architects of their own future cities.
They used the ideas they came up with in their Bravo workshop, covering future state, and then moved into a Charlie workshop which focused on the steps you take to go from ideas to actions. They spent time going through Internet of Things starter device kits to read what they do, and start figuring out how to put them together to create small versions of what they imagined on paper.
